The story
behind the sound
Mixed, mastered, and made to move you. This is the work of Tyanna Dotson — a Virginia-based audio engineering student with a feel-first approach to sound. Every project here speaks for itself. Just press play.

The mind behind the mix
Tyanna Dotson is a Junior Music Production Technology major from Cleveland, Ohio, and the founder of Andromeda Studios — a creative space built on the belief that music should move you, not just sound good. She specializes in mixing R&B and rap, but her skills stretch across genres, always grounded in her signature approach: crafting sound you can feel.
Certified in Pro Tools and Dolby Atmos, Tyanna brings both technical precision and emotional depth to every project. With 5 professional mixes and counting, she’s already making waves in the audio world.
Her long-term vision? To build a chain of studios that serve as safe, inspiring spaces — especially for women in audio — where artists can push boundaries and create work that goes beyond expectations.

WHO KNEW YOU
Mixing Engineer
Not every mix starts off clean — and that’s the beauty of the work. In this session, I had to time-shift parts of the lead vocal to lock it in with the track, balance two different voices (one with hiss), and restore clarity without losing the energy. It took patience, but in the end, everything sat where it needed to.
Mixed. Mastered. Moved.
This is how your voice, your message, your music can feel when it’s dialed in.
